Apple has unveiled the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, keeping a lot of the iPhone 13's design, including the A15 Bionic CPU from the prior generation. This year, there isn't a Mini option, so your choices are huge or bigger. The conventional SIM tray is likewise eliminated from the US versions of the iPhone 14 in favor of eSIM (it has no Sim card port). Starting at $799  for the basic iPhone 14 model and $899 for the 14 Plus.


Beginning on September 9, preorders will be accepted; the normal 14 will ship on September 16 and the 14 Plus will follow on October 7. Both versions feature Emergency SOS, the reported emergency communications system that uses satellite communication to send messages when a cell signal is unavailable. Satellite frequencies can be connected to using the phone's antennas. 

As per Apple, With a clear view of the sky, messages can be sent in less than 15 seconds, and the user interface directs users to aim their phones in the appropriate directions and talks them through the process of connecting with emergency service providers. The Find My app can also be used to communicate a location without sending a message. With iPhone 14 models, it's free for two years.

The screen size of the iPhone 14 remains the same at 6.1 inches, while the 14 Plus delivers a huge 6.7 inches. According to Apple, the 14 Plus model has the longest battery life of any iPhone. Both models still have the A15 Bionic chipset from last year, which is a significant departure for Apple, which has generally introduced a new processor to be utilized by its entire product line every year.


An ultrawide and a new 12-megapixel main camera with an f/1.5 aperture and sensor-based stabilization are available on the camera front.
Apple asserts that the image quality in low light has improved by 49%, and Night Mode is now twice as quick. A new 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera with front focusing is also available. Apple claims to be implementing its "Photonic Engine" technology, which improves color rendering and low-light performance, sooner in the image pipeline. Action Option, a new stabilization mode for video recording, makes use of the entire sensor to provide gimbal-like steadiness.

The release of the iPhone 14 coincides with a unique period in which prices are rising for everything, including consumer technology, and household budgets are being squeezed.
